Zen River Temple is a residential Buddhist training centre, established in 2002. The temple is led by abbot Anton Tenkei Coppens Roshi and vice abbot Tamara Myoho Gabrysch Roshi. The day-to-day affairs of the temple are managed together with a group of long-term residents, with the support of our members, many of whom join the practice at different times throughout the year. Zen practitioners and newcomers to Zen are welcome to attend the programme – for newcomers coming for the first time, please check out the Gyoji Weeks.
